I just finished my newest cancer related book. The Healing Consciousness was given to me by another way too young cancer survivor who is fighting a very hard battle. The author of the book Dr. DuPree is a breast surgeon in Bucks County who happens to be from York, PA, Kevin's home town. The book is about her journey to combine both western medicine and nontraditional medicine in healing her breast cancer patients.
I read the book and can not decide if I liked it or not and how I would feel about her views on healing. I am all for healing in many ways and know that chemo and radiation only take care of the disease but not the human they are attacking.
I do have to admit I made an appointment with Dr. DuPree in the beginning of my journey but canceled it since I wanted a complete cancer care center.
