Sorry for the delay in updating the blog. So last Thursday morning, I was on the outdoor set of The CBS Early Show with the 25 finalist for the White House Black Market survivor star search. It was an incredible experience! We were all dressed from head to toe in WHBM attire. I was standing next to the WHBM president Donna, who hand selected each finalist. Donna was such a warm and friendly lady and knew every detail about each and every one of us. We did not get our formal interview because the show was running late but they showed us several times!

Here is the video clip where the weather man touched me! He was no Al Roker but still fun! Yes, I am blowing kisses to Hunter. I promised him!

From there I spent some time wandering the city with my parents and Hunter, after an incredible night on the town with Kevin.

Then mom and I went to Milk Studios where I had the ultimate makeover after lounging on their roof top deck. There was 2 make up artists, 2 hair stylist (and yes Rolando was just like in the movies and he yelled at me for touching my hair!), a clothing stylist, a jewelry stylists and then the photographers and video crew. It was amazing! Just like you would see on tv!

After they made me pretty, and dressed me in a skinny black jeans (which I totally pulled off) and an adorable tank, i had my pics done. It got to see them and they were great! From there I went down to get interviewed on the grey couch for a video they are also creating!

The photos will appear in the October catalog for White House Black Market as well as the October issue of Elle and Shape magazines!

I felt privileged to meet such wonderful and courageous woman who have all taken something so terrible and turning it into something so positive. I was also honored to have been chosen and participate in a once in a lifetime opportunity and having my mom by my side meant everything!
